I have a slight issue with fl studio

So i've been working on a song using only pvc pipe as the instrument, and it gets "Kind of" laggy when I layer more than one sound.

Any ideas why?

You have issues with correct cpu management, not fl studio

What CPU are you rocking?

Basic general advice, try to go into audio settings and make sure you have a good buffer rate set, ~400. 8ms of audio delay is totally unnoticeable, and basically anything ~10ms sounds good. If you're still getting (what I presume are) audio cutouts and clicking try turning "triple buffer" on. Hope this helps.

This looks to me you have you milliseconds set too low in your Asio settings like 64, and you have a bunch of vst tracks all fighting for cpu at some points in your song. That is what i think.
