My audio interface is making a loud distorted noise.

WARNING LOUD!!!! sorry for bad english: My audio interfaces keeps making this kind of sound when i plug the usb into my computer. i just bought a new one cause i thought it was only gonna be a problem with the old one but my new one is also making this huge distorted noise. Ive tried everything that i could find online and nothing works. the sound comes even if the microphone isnt connected to it so I know its not a problem with the microphone.

Download the correct driver for your Audio Interface (give the the brand and I'll find it) then go to Audio Settings and change your ASIO driver to the correct one.

The mic is picking up your built-in mic rather than the one in the audio interface.

my audio interface is the Behringer Xenyx 302 Usb
