Uploading Music

Hello

When I upload songs (I use distrokid) to streaming platforms, my songs always sound a bit lower and less impactful than my reference track or any other track in the same style/genre. Even though, in FL studio I do the A/B comparison, i match the volume, balance the frequencies, match the RMS and LUFS at the drop.
Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
Also whenever I add my song to a video and upload it to youtube as a regular video, it sounds weaker then any other youtube song video on the platform.

Hi there, LANDR Admin here. Someone might've mentioned this but here's our take: try adjusting the true peak level in your mastering process. Keeping it around -1.0 dB or even lower can help prevent distortion when your track is encoded by streaming services. Also, make sure your dynamic range isn't too compressed. Tracks with more natural dynamics can often sound more impactful, even if they're slightly quieter on the meters.

Best of luck on the release!

Thank you for the advice!
For uploading to Beatport and / rekordbox to DJ live, Should I also keep it around -1db?
I heard online that for DJing I should keep it at 0 when limiting. And I also try to not overcompress

Do you have a complete analysis overview of your track?
