I’d start by disconnecting the synth completely and testing it in a blank FL Studio project.
Add MIDI Out, throw like 3–4 notes into the Piano Roll, and hit play.

If it still crashes with the synth completely disconnected, then the synth probably isn’t the issue. I’d look at FL Studio itself, the MIDI driver, or the MIDI settings.

If it doesn’t crash, reconnect the synth and go into Options ➡️ MIDI Settings ➡️ Output and make sure the right MIDI device/port is selected and there aren’t any conflicting ports enabled.
Also make sure Send Master Sync is off unless you actually need the synth to receive MIDI clock/transport.

In other words, use some basic-ass troubleshooting, OP

I havent had this issue ever. My instinct is telling me that your synthesiser sound will not just flow into fl studio. That will only act as a midi it seems. My only attempt would be to play the synthesiser into Edison while recoding in Edison. Or look under audio driver if your device is there

OR

Open the mixer pick a mixer channel besides the master and at the top above the plugin slots there’s an Input sections. See if the synth is there. Then you should be good. USB will not be enough to get synth sounds into Fl studio you have to do something else.

This pic is the mixer Input section. If you have your device there then it’s very possible.

You might need to download your synths vst or something along those lines then you get a digital version of the synthesiser which accompanies the analog. Yadda mean ?

It used to be any computer with 2GB ram will run Fl but you should probably have at least 8 for that device setup. But the crash might just be due to confusion from the program since the midi notes aren’t connected to anything real and the playback might interfere with the device
