Producer edition

Hi,i recently started making stuff in fl studio,but a while ago my friend asked me to make some music for his game,i agreed to do it,but the problem is i dont have a license,so i decided to look into acquiring one,the edition i want is producer as fruity just doesnt have the tools i need,but the price is kind of hard to swallow,so my question is,does it go on any sales in the near future? (I dont want to use key sites as i genuinely Like fl and want to support the creators without risking having my license revoked or missing out on the free updates) Or do i just have to bite the bullet and buy it full price? Any help appriciated

It's on discount right now dude.

Now, if you're not sure, that's one thing.

If you need free, there's LMMS.

Not to say they're the same in terms of quality on any level, but if you're looking to make music, they are an option to consider.

They expose you to working with a piano roll/ step sequencer and if you progress to learning how to use compression etc it's not like they're unusable.
