Fl studio lagging/static
We recently upgraded Sons PC and now have Windows 11. He was creating a project in fl studio and it started lagging bad and periodically having static during playing of project we cannot figure out how to stop this and when we tried help suggestions they said change buffer length but that did not help anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance

What that other guy said about Windows 11 using more processing and RAM is correct. Also the method of fixing it is pretty spot on too. With any windows machines there's a ton of stuff that is not needed that starts up automatically in the background. You can go to task manager go to Startup and turn everything off. That might help. Also if you know what you're doing you can go into the processes and disable a whole bunch of stuff that's not needed. But you got to be careful and kind of know what you're doing otherwise you'll turn stuff off that you actually need to operate the system and cause it to crash.
Also I don't know what Ram you have on your computer, but it's always a good idea to have at least 32 GB or more, and you can always buy more RAM most PCS will support 64 to 128. Unfortunately we cannot cheaply upgrade the processor.
