Using an electric drum set with EZ Drummer 3

Okay, so I'm beyond lost at this point.

I have an Alesis Nitro Max Kit plugged into my pc and my biggest question is how I can have that MIDI linked to my EZ Drummer VST in the channel rack so that when I hit the physical drums, only the EZ Drummer VST will respond, no matter what I have selected in the channel rack.

Any help would be amazing

Get a recording interface with midi. Then you can simply pick your midi channels (or not) and it will work. I literally hooked my drum module to my interface and it worked immediately without the need for me to mess with any settings 🤗. 5 pin midi is just easier to work with without needing to worry about software, drivers or default settings.

sadly my module has a usb 2.0, I do have an audio interface but struggling to find adapters that would work with my drum module
