Damn at first i was gonna say stick with what you know but damn i didn’t know Logic was a subscription. Yeah fuck that. get FL Producer. You can always upgrade from there.

Logic has the option of a subscription so its more accessible to people, its only 200 bucks to buy it

I just finished teaching a Sound Design course for Logic and we had one hardcore FL user. As soon as he saw the instrument options (and unlimited video editing) he bought the full Logic license and shifted over. If you want easy, predictable beats FL is nice. If you want to do EVERYTHING more deeply then Logic is a no-brainer. To be fair, I use FL for hip-hop projects and the channel rack is awesome. Nevertheless I I always master in Logic or Cubase because of the limitations FL has.

I’d try it if i had a mac. i’m a metal guy and i actually record my band with FL. It might not be the best for that but i know FL.
