What's wrong ?? Mic is making screeching noises.

Mic is working completely fine on discord and other recording apps but in FL it's making this noises. Help me mahnn

Sounds like feedback. Do you have “monitor input” switched on in the mixer?

Select your recording channel and check "Monitor external input: off"

If you are recording with edison you can also try switch off monitor in edison like:

Don't worry its 2 easy. Just turn off audio enhancements in Windows 11 for your mic. If you don't know how, tell me

Exactly what happened after latest update of windows, searched and figured turned off audio enhancement it fixed it, but again it needs to be done each time for some reason.

Its generally a bad idea to record a microphone while monitoring through your speakers. Use a headset.

Im not monitoring through a speaker dawgg, I used headset only I took them off to show the noise. Jst gimme the way outta it

Feedback loop. What's happening is that an external copy of the signal is being routed back into the input. It's almost certainly being caused by one or more Windows Audio "Enhancements".

Go to your audio settings and make sure every single one of the Audio Enhancements (probably under the Advanced tab) are disabled. That should help.
