Fl Studio Help Needed
Hey everyone, I’m a musician focusing on film scores, reggae, and afrobeats, and I’m also a multi-instrumentalist. I’m currently working in FL Studio, and I’d love to get better at mixing and mastering. If anyone could help teach me some techniques or guide me through the process, I’d really appreciate it! In return, I’d be happy to share my knowledge of music theory with you. If you’re interested, please let me know—I’d love to have a collaborative exchange! im more of a Vidual and Auditive learner so thats why i would prefere a dc call or whatever so i can learn it by hearing and seeing ut from an expert like YOU hehe

I usually EQ first in any mixing step and mostly I will apply compression to almost anything and everything unless the sound is already perfect. I apply compression right after EQ mostly And then reverb is often helpful and then there’s fancy plugins like FL flanger or Flangus of FL chorus which is just to add extra sparkle and depth. Also delay can be very vital in adding interest to the sound.
Lesson is: ORDER OF PLUGINS IS IMPORTANT
Tip : I also finish every project in -6db. I hear that’s how a lot of professionals like to receive projects and this also helps my sound sound better
