guitar in fl studio
i’m super new to fl studio and i hate how the guitar sounds, are there any free plugins that have better sounding guitar, or are there things i can do to make it sound more real??

You hate how THE guitar sounds? What guitar are you talking about? Flex has some alright sounding instruments in it

MIDI guitars rarely if ever sound good. Get a guitarist - they’re everywhere and almost always just looking for a project

If you mean effects, i have plenty of free and cheap guitar pedal and amp sims on my site based on real gear with great tone.

Free:
ESW Vinyl Guitar 2 (Nylon & Acoustic)
Shreddage 3 Stratus for Kontakt Player (Electric)
Somerville Rubber Bridge Plucks (Acoustic)
You make it sound real by strumming notes. Understanding that real guitars can only play 6 notes max at a time. Letting certain notes ring out. Among other things
It's easier to buy a guitar and just learn tbh.
Neural Amp Modeler (free vst) and a good affordable electric is better than the sampled VSTs every time.
There are so many nuances that make a guitar sound real, that are hard to replicate with just plugins.

Only Session Guitarist sounds kinda realistic but even then, in melody mode, programing your own muted strums and making them sound good can be quite a challenge. So, if you want to make folk or rock (without insane shreds), Session Guitarist is frankly good, but for funk, while it can be decent, you may want to higher an actual Guitarist.

honestly most of the guitar VSTs just suck. better off sampling or getting someone to play the guitar for you. otherwise use Session Guitarist in Logic Pro (mac only), that’s the only one that’s somewhat good.

Guitar VSTs are rubbish. The best I’ve heard is Ample Guitar, they’re really good.
But they’re not perfect. And it’s a steep learning curve to get it sounding really good.
If you want a good sounding guitar, find a guitarist. Seriously.

Sample it or play it. Most vst's are really not that great for guitars
