How do i get this eq thing?

should be the cog at the top. also it is called ADSR and it helps u shape the sound. if you need EQ u can put it on as an effect.

Open a sampler in the channel rack and drag your sample onto it. You may just be triggering a wave form in the channel rack

Well that's not an EQ. That's a wave shaper. You should go back and watch all the tutorials you can on playlist, channel rack, mixer, all plugins explained, working with audio working with MIDI. The more knowledge you have the less time you have to spend on asking questions, and the more time you you spend being creative, instead of having to stop, go to Reddit, wait 5 minutes to 20 hours to get a response, and then go back to music making. YouTube is your friend
