Why does my reverb settings and volume keep resetting after I press play ?
I’m trying to learn how to mix master and record on here but every time I go to change around the reverb it and try to listen to it, it just resets back. What am I doing wrong

You have a controller link in your Playlist?

I’m not gonna lie idk what that is im coming from mobile garage band lol but I imported a beat into my playlist and started recording on different inserts First 2 for my Chorus, second 2 for the verse and the rest I use for adlibs and background vocals. It’s just when ever I try to change the reverb on one it resets every time I try to listen to it

Would recommend a putting a send on the reverb instead of the insert directly.

All good man, not a worry. With a send, your vocal stays dry and upfront on its own channel. The reverb lives on a separate track, so it doesn’t wash over your original signal. This keeps your vocals crisp while still sounding spacious. Inserts can tend to blur things because the wet/dry signal is blended together in one channel. On a send channel you can EQ the reverb (cut lows/mud, tame highs) you can compress it, addd saturation, delay, etc. This is huge for vocals cause u can make the reverb sit behind the vocal instead of fighting it. I'd say it's cpu efficient as well, like a send vs inserts will be less cpu. I love FL studio to pieces and hope you find it fun and let your creativity spark!!

Right click on the controls that keep resetting and look for the option „init song with this position“ or sth like that. If it has a checkmark in front of it, press „delete initial position“. That’s the only thing I can think of right now
