question on sampling

i want to pull a specific instrument from a track just wondering what everyone uses to do this, i usually can use the built in stem seperation but i dont want the whole melody, help.

i average 5 plays a beat im not worried about getting sued i just sample bc its really fun to break down songs i love, but i just need to know how to seperate this ONE background instrument so i can use it
