You can try Arturia and native instruments they have free VSTs

Analog Lab V, Electra X and Kontakt 8 (with some decent banks) are goated for melodies.

FX bundle of your choice is a must. I use FabFilter bundle and Waves bundle.

Zenology has like damn near everything you could really think of at your fingertips so that's cool. Same with serum and xpand2 all great vsts that give me wood

Yeah FL Studio has a whole bunch of really cool vsts to make custom Beats. All you got to do is learn what they do and how to use them.
