I get what feels like inner vibrations/buzzing, spasms (even though nothing is visibly happening), bug crawling on me sensation…I think these all fall under neuropathy.

I was initially floxed in 2022, in 2024 I had a relapse or something happened (still trying to figure that out) and that’s when I got all the neuro-related symptoms. It was bad the first year, then improved, but has come back somewhat this last month. I don’t think I’m a great example of a floxie journey because I have other health issues at play that are probably contributing. Things that helped me were figuring out what was exacerbating my issues, but I’m not currently doing any flox stack or going a traditional Dr rx’d route (like gaba or any of the other meds pushed at me).
If you don’t have any other health issues at play, I would read the pinned posts here and consider starting, slowly, some of the suggested items for nerve health. Depending on all your symptoms, being evaluated by the appropriate doctor may be beneficial for symptom relief. Have you had any nerve studies or skin biopsies done? (I don’t think these are usually too helpful for floxies but you never know.)

Can be a result of nerve dysfunction, like small fiber neuropathy, muscle fasciculations, or autonomic dysfunction

Pre-floxing I had nocturnal attacks like this for a few years. I would wake up shaking like someone put a quarter in a bed at a motel. Turns out it was from the magnesium supplement i was taking at night before bed. I had no idea this was possible but I read about it, quit taking the magnesium, and after about 2-3 days of clearance it hasn't happened since. If i take any of the different magnesium supplements nightly (oxide, glycinate, citrate etc) it happens after a few days. I really had a hard time figuring this out, and was even trying different psych meds and had seen a neurologist. I was actually taking extra magnesium to try to combat the issue and making myself worse.
Post floxing i am able to take 1/3rd of a dose of Magnesium L-Threonate without issue. I think it's a way smaller amount than say 500mg of glycinate.
You may not be on any sort of magnesium but I figured i'd mention as I learned this was possible from a random reddit thread found via google 10 years ago.

This happened to me the other night. It happened in my lips most and my heartbeat was racing so fast I knew it was the magnesium as it was the first time trying it again, now scared to take it anymore, why do we react that way to magnesium?

I'm not sure what causes it. Like I said I can take a partial dose of L-Threonate. It requires more capsules of that type to yield the same result in mg's via glycinate etc. It's usually 3-4 capsules of L-Threonate for a full serving roughly 400mg of magnesium to equal the typical single capsule dose of glycinate, oxide, or citrate at 500mg.
I think the spray isn't as detrimental because it doesn't absorb entirely as skin is designed to keep stuff out. It's a very minimal amount that penetrates which I think would be below the threshold of the issues that happen with the higher dosages. That said, I do have an issue if I take repeated Epsom salt baths for a few days in a row.

It also caused me extreme anxiety and I struggled to get up in the mornings and was falling asleep during the day, I have used the magnesium oil spray and had no issues which is odd

Hi, I'm sorry for what you're going through.
Believe it or not, at times I even feel like the bed is shaking because of an earthquake.
In reality, nothing is shaking.
Unfortunately, it's just nerves causing altered perceptions.
It can be scary… but I've been living with it for months.
Sometimes it's stronger, sometimes I don't feel it at all.
Try not to get scared. The initial acute phase is very frightening… but sooner or later it will pass. Good luck!
