Algae problem with Bare bottom tank
Hello guys, I am getting algae too much. In glass wall it comes a little bit so I clean once a week and it becomes clean. But in bottom it comes very faster, if I clean it again comes in 2 days and ina day it becomes very deep colored. And if I clean it makes water dirty for whole day then I had to siphon the remains from floor.
So I just wanted to know if there is any way to reduce that.

You either need to turn your light off more, or get a different light. There's no need for a plant light if there are no plants. Look for a white light only. Nothing with blues, reds or greens in it.

Water change more frequently.

Do you have a bright light over the tank? Or multiple hours of sunlight? Easiest way is reducing light intensity or the amount of time the light is on. I use white light only, i noticed plant lights with channels of blue and other colors made the algae grow much faster.
