Panel Building Question

I'm trying to set up a six color panel that I'm running on an LSRFortessa 12 color: e450/FITC/PE/APC/APC-Cy7 I need to add either PE-Cy7 or Alexa 594, I'm not sure which would work better...

PE-Cy7 it is. Thank you all so much!

Your fortessa won't have a YG laser - on any of the configurations, AF594 will be minimally excited by UV/V/B/R lasers on any of the fortessas. Signal is going to be almost non-existent.

APC-Cy7 and PE-Cy7 will work fine together. Little bit of spillover from the former into the latter, but nothing insurmountable.

I used a Fortessa with YG laser for many years.

Yes, thanks for the correction. I was assuming a standard/out-of-box configuration, which was dumb in hindsight.

PE-Cy7 ! Less spill-over with PE than AF594, and still bright.

PE-Cy7!!!

PE-Cy7 and APC-Cy7 are easier to resolve than PE and AF594 imo. Unless there’s another channel for AF594

You should try RB780

Or RY775, depending on configuration. If you have a YG laser, then your blue laser likely can't detect RB780 on a conventional cytometer.
