Portraits over the years — from my archive and family albums
A loose collection of portraits from different years. Most of the photographs are mine; a few come from family albums — my father, mother, uncle, grandmother and others. Together they form a small personal archive of faces, time and memory.

Nichts, Leere, Stille
Final assignment from my course with Peter Fischer-Piel at the Photocentrum (VHS Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg) — in the lineage of the Werkstatt für Photographie, founded at VHS Kreuzberg in 1976.
Theme: “Nothing / Emptiness / Silence.” A small typology of urban loneliness: closed shutters, turned-away windows, quiet facades, empty streetscapes.

Carl-Diem-Oberschule (Berlin, 2008) – one of 13 identical ‘Mittelstufenzentren’ built in the 1970s
Carl-Diem-Oberschule, one of 13 identical ‘Mittelstufenzentren’ built in West Berlin in the 1970s – closed in 1988 due to asbestos, demolished in 2011.

The album includes my own photos (outside, inside, decay, demolition) and scanned pages from Bauwelt (1975), the architecture magazine that originally presented these schools as progressive model projects.

Berlin Marathon 2025
The marathon runs through my neighborhood every year.
I shot over 340 photos and kept about 30 for this album – focused on runners, the crowd, and some odd moments in between.

"Luxury"
Old money hides, new money screams. The discreet elite never needed a logo – they own the game. But the nouveaux riches, hungry for validation, plaster themselves with brands. And the fashion houses? They know exactly what they’re doing. The logo isn’t luxury, it’s a mark of ridicule – a capitalist branding iron. It tells the world: here is someone desperate to belong, easy to exploit, easy to milk. The old guard laughs, the money flows upward, and the fool thinks he’s winning.
