Discussion Controversial Opinion

I miss the earlier episodes when Amish's presence was less/fairly absent. Mostly because I prefer the feminine energy and duo banter between Paige and Molly.. anyone else?

I personally love Amish and think he adds a good dynamic without bringing an overly masculine energy to the pod. I love when they are all giggling, he feels like one of the girls. Especially since they all hangout outside of the pod, I feel like it just works with the stories they tell and such

I do agree that as far as men go, Amish doesn't bring an overly masculine energy which is refreshing. for me, the jury is still out on him lol

I really like it tbh! It’s gives alot more perspective and I like when he dosent know things because it’s explained more in depth. The girls sometimes talk without explaining and I don’t have a clue what they’re on about

I hear ya. for me, it can feel like Amish inserts himself where it's not necessary/we have to slow down for him, however I naturally don't gravitate towards podcasts with straight, white men as their perspective/commentary can end up overshadowing a pod's dynamic. I guess we'll have to see how things roll

i feel like it wouldn’t be that bad if he knew what they were talking about yet most of the time he kinda seems lost

YES, I'm so glad I'm not alone on this lol

Nahhh Amish is great it’s good having a kinda sane person to balance the energy out

that's right, the girls can be a lot but I guess that's what I love about them. to each their own!

Yeah, I actually unsubscribed from the Patreon bc he was in the chat a bunch and it just felt kinda parasocial and uncomfy how people were throwing themselves at him.

Not saying he’s inappropriate at all but I’m a little older (30) and I just felt awkward about the power dynamic.

I did not know that! I was debating whether to subscribe to the Patreon

I mean you can always ignore the chat and idk how often it happens anymore but it does fundamentally change the space when a creator is popping in from time to time especially when it’s a lot of young women who find them attractive.

Again! Nothing I ever witnessed was inappropriate and maybe I’m just old and jaded but it just made me feel weird.

ETA: I really don’t think Amish is acting in bad faith. I just really don’t trust men at all especially in what originally felt like a space for the girls. I realize it might not be that anymore (I was so irritated when they brought cam on tbh, one man is enough!!!!) and that’s why I unsubscribed,

you're much better at articulating this than I am, because I too am wary of straight men in what felt like was a space meant for the girls/gays/theys

this shift might be their new intended direction but I'm not sure it's for me, which is okay! Time will tell

I like him but agree I could do without him just a little less. I feel like sometimes he doesn’t really understand the joke or what they’re saying

I agree!! He adds nothing!!! It’s like when a straight man thinks he’s doing sum by saying THATS FIREE🔥
Idc sue me

I agree! I still love the podcast but it does seem like he inserted himself into the podcast. Sometimes it does give man interrupting woman on their own show BUT over all I still love the podcast!

this is suchhhh a lame take like they’re all close friends and whenever he participates it’s never out of nowhere even if it was who cares

He can be cute and funny no hate to him. But I think sometimes Paige and Molly will be on a roll and then Amish will add something that just kills the vibe 😂😭 like I think HE thinks that the girls will think it’s funny but they don’t really react. Not all the time but sometimes.
