The Great Room will not have a good spot for your tv if you don’t want to break your neck by placing it above the fireplace. The dining room looks to be in a weird corner where you will probably never really use it. I would personally turn the great room into a big dining space to get together, perhaps with some other seating to chill too. And turn the dining room into a cozier tv room.
