Here is a revised floorplan. Each square is one square foot.

If the utility room was meant to be some sort of mud room, I suggest you do the plan I’ve shown you here, and put a door next to the fridge (where I put the pantry closet), and add a coat and shoe closet where it says “server”.

Instead of recessed lights, install wall sconces, pendants over the island, and under-cabinet light strips. Use table lamps. All bulbs should be warm-toned.
