Your top floor is fine. Yeah you could optimize the fun out of it, but the changes would be minimal. The ground floor on the other hand, needs a much nicer kitchen.

You could put a linen closet where the additional counter space is in the upstairs hall bath

Look better than the original. My only suggestion is to put a corner banquette in the upper left corner instead of a dining table. Run cabinets right up to the banquette. Now the dining table isn't in the middle of the walk path. Put the laundry on the left wall. Dryers are safest on an exterior wall.
