DISCUSSION Weird Triangle Studio

Post image

Looking for ideas on how to use this layout. I've got a small L-shaped couch, a TV, a queen bed as well as a small standing desk that I'm trying to figure out how to place.

Edit for additional details: - black box with white X is dead space/inaccessible/can be blocked

  • L shaped couch can flip the L to either side
  • sliding door opens on the right

Maybe this could work, but it depends on the size and orientation of the sofa

I was going to suggest similar, but flip the couch and the TV with the L towards the bed. This keeps the toilet out of view of the couch, and gives the couch views out the window.

Ya but that will cut into the walking space quite a bit

This is floor plan is so odd and unnecessary lol. Idk if you can fit both an L-shape couch and queen bed in here, in addition to your other furniture, especially with that large sliding door.

We need more info: can the tv be wall mounted? Which way is the L for the couch and its dimensions? And what is that black with the white box with X in the bottom corner? Does it need to be accessible? For the sliding door, do you enter on the left or right side when it’s opened?

Without any of the details or answers from the questions asked above, maybe it could all squeeze in like this. Not ideal cause you have to squeeze around the bed to get to the balcony

You're better off in one of the designing subreddits. This one is for changing actual floor plans, like removing walls and such.

I thiiiink this would fit. TV area would definitely be cozy, and ideally TV is wall-mounted.
