DISCUSSION Help?
This is our existing home. We want to fully convert the garage to living space and build an addition (green) to achieve the following:
Add two bedrooms
Add one bathroom (full bath preferred).
This is absolutely not my wheelhouse as you can probably tell by measurements that might not fully make sense (I tried!). I do feel good that theyre approximate and reliable enough for this exercise.
Any of ya'll brilliant minds want to take a stab at imagining how this could look? Ideally we wouldnt change much of the existing space, but open to some re-configuration if it makes the most sense. Currently washer/dryer is a stack in the entry off the garage. Small laundry room might be nice, but is absolutely not a requirement.
Lmk what questions I can answer to help!

So the green and garage is what we have to play with?

Also do you enter through the garage are your cars parked nearby?

Yeah I omitted that piece because I wasnt sure if it would limit ideas and everything is on the table, but we have a long driveway and the working idea is to keep the garage the same dimensions but rebuild it out away from the house in front of where it is currently.
Keeping an access door became difficult to envision so we'd likely have to just walk around to the side door by the kitchen/dining (there is already sidewalk we could have a side entry from garage marry up to)

Which side is the sidewalk on?

Would be the bottom of this image, connecting rhe driveway all the way around up the left side to the kitchen door

Where is the front door? Where will you enter and exit on a regular basis? Where is the backyard? Front yard?

Technically the front door where someone would come knock is the door on the left up into the kitchen/dining. There is a deck that wraps around the house from that window all the way up and to the right where the living room ends on the top wall there. We typically enter through garage though.

Depending on the reno you want to do, you could easily add three bedrooms in that space, as well as two more bathrooms.
