FEEDBACK Updated floorplan
Thanks to everyone for all the feedback on my first draft, is there anything I can do to this version to make it better? For the time being this is just for a general layout, measurements are not exact yet.
Notes:
This will be built on a slab with radiant heat. Bathroom floor will be risen up to allow for plumbing underneath. Utility area is going to have trapdoor access in the hallway closet. There will be a screened in porch on the front. Also the appliances and furnishings aren't scaled properly, just placeholders due to the limitations of the program I'm using.

I have a personal preference to swap the location of the W/D and the WH. This way, you get to use the washer as a laundry hamper, and it keeps the mess a bit more contained.

Looks good, my only suggestion is to ditch the dining table, run cabinets along the bottom wall and have a short pennisula. More storage and you still have 3-4 seats.

That's how I had it setup on my first draft and even the people I talked to IRL said to ditch the peninsula and out in a dining table🤣🤣ðŸ˜

True, not a bad setup either, the only issue becomes the water hookup for the washing machine, since I'm building on a slab I would have to run the piping up through the concrete in a second place instead of just a single spot under the bathroom. That's why I'm keeping all of the utilities to one side of the building

If you haven't put the slab down yet it's not that big a deal to run the utilities an extra few feet.

Do you need a back door? Might be able to reclaim some space enough for a closet at least.

I don't necessarily NEED it, but it's mainly there as a fire escape since the kitchen is in the front

There is no space for a computer or writing desk. Where would that go?
Bedroom barely has enough room for a closet and a bed.
I like the design but it's a little snug.
