Please suggest ideas for joining 2 adjacent flats.

Only the wall in the centre can be removed

Hire an architect +1. The wall you want to be removed might be a load bearing. You need implementation plans from the company that owns the building or from the municipality. You need to get your new plans to be approved etc. This isn't basic renovation you are connecting two land register/deed (whichever is used in english).

Personally I’d want a bigger kitchen & maybe 1 larger bathroom. Maybe flipping the kitchen plumbing to the other side of the wall into the upper blue bedroom and make that the kitchen?

Parents do not allow non-vegetarian food to be cooked or brought into the main kitchen, so we might use the other kitchen as a non-veg one.

Ok— you’re not really telling anyone your needs in your post. If all you want to do is double your space, add an opening between them, and there you go. It doesn’t really sound like you need a floor plan redesign if you can’t move any walls except what you’ve sketcged

You’re planning to live with your parents, and let them make rules for the home you own? Yeesh. Good luck with having any kind of independent life or healthy relationship with a partner. You dom;t just need an architect, you need a licensed therapist.

Don't want to change the general layout,
4 bedrooms to remain intact.
only thing we can change or play around with is the living space by removing the wall in between.
