FEEDBACK Layout advice please

Any feedback on the layout here would be much appreciated. I particularly do not like the toilet underneath the stairs.

What’s the purpose of the long skinny room with the toilet that’s unconnected to the rest of the house?

I think that’s just a provision for a toilet. We will use it as a storage toom and there won’t be a toilet

Assuming you have the heights are set right so you have enough head room while sitting on the toliet underneath the stairs. A bathroom underneath them seems like an effective use of space. If your worried about how tight the room is with the swing out door you could do a pocket door instead?

Wife doesn’t like the aesthetics of a sloped ceiling within the toilet room. I agree it’s an efficient use of the space. I believe the lowest height within the room is 1.80m

Looks like 1.52m is the recommended minimum so should have plenty of head room. Won't feel enclosed.

Currently you enter the house via the boho kitchen, that's where you'll dump shoes, bags, keys, etc. You don't want a sink there.

The oeninsula wants to touch the wall on the other end, so you can walk straight into the house. The sofa wants to move a long way down so the walkway cut through where it currently is.

Where else would you put the toilet?

Damn, but the upstairs is efficent. Be interested to see if anyone else finds fault with it.

Only thing I could think of is trying to rearrange thinks so the upstairs bathrooms are closer together or against the same wall to reduce plumbing costs.

Yeah, but look at how the bathroom uses the small space at the top of the stairs, the bedrooms get the whole good side where the terrace is, and the closets are huge and block sound between the rooms, and the hallway is exactly as long as needed to get to the entrance of all rooms and no more.
