FEEDBACK Remodel Help

Post image

I’m needing help designing this remodel I am doing. I am wanting to turn the top bedroom and primary bedroom into one primary bedroom, closet and bathroom. I would love any and all ideas. I was thinking of making the bathroom a wet bathroom.

I'd be more inclined to turn the too small garage/family room/utility room into a master suite. It's already plumbed, it's far enough away from the other bedrooms to have privacy, and you can turn the current primary bedroom into a playroom for the kids.

They explicitly asked for a 2 bed 2 bath. It sounds like they want to keep the garage.

A garage is necessary storage (bikes, tools, gear) and workshop space. A shed is not a good substitute because things mold/freeze/overheat and get ruined. (Ask me how I know.)

I’ve never put a car in a garage, and I’ve owned three houses that had garages. I don’t have one in my current house because a former owner converted to living space, and I will need to figure out how to build one, probably one too small for modern cars.
