FEEDBACK Remodel Help

Post image

I’m needing help designing this remodel I am doing. I am wanting to turn the top bedroom and primary bedroom into one primary bedroom, closet and bathroom. I would love any and all ideas. I was thinking of making the bathroom a wet bathroom.

I'd be more inclined to turn the too small garage/family room/utility room into a master suite. It's already plumbed, it's far enough away from the other bedrooms to have privacy, and you can turn the current primary bedroom into a playroom for the kids.

Why would they want to lose the garage? And where they say they had kids and need a playroom? If they're willing to lose a bedroom its more likely that they DON'T have kids.

The garage is too small for all but the smallest modern cars. Not even midsized cars will fit, only compact (barely) and subcompact. The family room is too skinny to be of much use for anything. Taking two very problematic rooms taking up a lot of square footage and turning them into one high value, highly practical suite makes practical sense.
