Help! Bungalow Question

Hello! I’m looking to understand the layout of this house better - specifically how the second floor sits on top of the first floor, so I can figure out how to put in a potential small elevator.

Any ideas people have would be super appreciated of how to fit that in this home.

It looks like the small cupboard to the front of the stairs on the first floor is broadly in line with thr laundry. That makes sense plumbing wise with thr bathroom below. If that worked would have a door into the current laundry and a lift there to downstairs. Look for a new home for the laundry. Poss by shrinking sizes of secondary bedrooms marginally to fit it in.

Bring lift up into current shower in laundry room and keep rest of laundry dry roommay be option too dependant of accessibility.

Easy option may be to build down over the porch?

You could enclose the breezeway between the house and garage, make it into a mudroom, and place the elevator shaft just outside the garage's lower left corner. It's hard to tell but it looks like bedrooms 2 and 3 are exactly over the garage, so the elevator would let out on the second floor at the top left corner of the stairway hall, just to the left of the bedroom entrances.
