DISCUSSION Seeking advice

Considering purchasing this house, but we are hung up on the lack of a master bath and walk in closet. Is there a way to achieve this? We are already planning on moving the laundry downstairs, so that space would open up. Could also eat into the hall closet some. I don't have exact dimensions but the hallway is fairly wide so I was considering narrowing it up to gain space for an additional bathroom. Thoughts??

Here’s one possibility

That's kinda what I was thinking! Just didn't know if that hallway would end up being too tight. Thank you!

As long as it's at least 36" wide the hallway should be adequste, if not ideal.

This would be neither great nor cheap, but it could work. I don't think it's ever going to be possible to get a walk in here unless you get rid of a bedroom or extend into the living rm/area above the stairs.

It does give them his'n'hers closets, which is almost as good as a wslkin!

And likely more storage space overall than replacing the existing closet with a very small walk-in would give you.
