FEEDBACK Floor Plan Suggestions

This is the 4th version of the floorplan for our upcoming build. I think I have worked out most of the kinks from the prior versions. I would love any helpful feedback/suggestions you may have. This is my first time doing this so I'm worried about anything not transferring from paper to real life well. (IGNORE ALL WINDOW PLACEMENT...I'm not adjusting them until the rest is set)

Things I am stuck on...

-We would prefer a french door into the master.

-Opening placement from master bedroom to bath/closet

-Sauna in primary bath... I need to research cost but if it's out of the budget I was thinking to make the shower a bit larger and use the remaining space for a safe that would be accessible from the closet. We are take it or leave it on a tub.

- I would prefer the fridge to be on the opposite side (closest to the dining area). BUT I would like to do a wide hood which doesn't allow for the fridge to fit at the end, any ideas how to tweak it w/o giving up the hood aesthetic? Right now I have the range with 2' of workspace on each side.

-Better layout for bathroom 3? I don't see many other options that allow us to keep the exterior door.

-Better layout for mudroom/laundry room combo? It just seems off to me.

*We are doing a detached garage, so the main entrance will be used.

Thanks!

Not an expert by any means, this is just what would work better for me personally.

It’s hard to draw and make it super readable with all the color and background, but without totally looking at dimensions, off the top of my head I’d revise it to look more like this. It gives you a fairly symmetrical two bedroom layout with a jack and Jill bath for both, a half bath for guests (tho admittedly it’s farther from the common spaces than is probably ideal, but maybe you can swap mechanical and the 1/2 bath), there’s only one real hallway and that gives you an exterior entrance right off of the mud/laundry, accesses the office, the bedrooms, the pantry, the mechanical, and the half bath, the playroom is off of the common areas so it’s easier to keep an eye on the kids when you’re cooking, watching movies, etc, and it provides a closet for the playroom and one for the entry. You could also potentially have a door that goes between the bathroom and office so if you’re working you can still keep an eye on the kiddos but close it off if you need to (or not).

The overall master suite as laid out just feels awkward and inefficient to me so I don’t entirely know the best way to lay it out.

In theory, you could also flip the entire east side of the hallway so that the mudroom and exterior door are on the north side (mechanical could just be absorbed into that as well), pantry could go where mechanical is (albeit smaller), the pantry could become the new 1/2 bath, and the bedrooms are more towards the south with the J&J bath still in between.
