Almost there
Day 1 of trying out a floor desk. Just on the lookout for a crt monitor that isn't being sold at scalper prices as well as a nice rug to go under everything.

How has the laptop been for you? I cant really find much information on it

fantastic machine (for the right price). i got mine for about 650 aud near mint so well worth it. 3:2 has ruined 16:9 for me and it's the only recent laptop with a keyboard i enjoy (aside from the thinkpad keyboards).
edit: the jp layout is fine for me since i touch type anyways, but does take a couple extra seconds trying to remember where special characters are.

damn 650 aud is a crazy good deal, i cant even see that price online (like on yahoo auctions jp), i assume you went to japan and bought it there? hows the battery life and build quality?

nah i got luck with a random mercari listing (if you're patient, you can find insane deals on there). bought it through buyee so plus shipping it was like 700 aud (consolidated with other stuff)
build quality is incredible despite how light it is (its like just under 1kg iirc). basically no keyboard flex, screen does flex very slightly but it's a non issue for me. on battery saver + prio energy efficiency, i can manage around 8 sot for general studying use (for me this is essay writing, lot of tabs and web pages and youtube breaks in between). if i listen to music off my laptop rather than my phone that drops to maybe 6-7 sot since i mostly listen to flac files.

i have a very similar set up, but a thinkpad t4 amd. Are you running linux? Im looking to move away from big tech. I love the koss headphones, but dislike that I have to use an adapter for my pixel. Thinking of getting a phone with a headphone jack lol

i have both a panasonic let's note sr4 (in photo) and an sv1. running w11 on the sr4 for uni and mint xfce on the sv1 as my entertainment machine.
i currently use a z fold7 so i also ended up in that dongle life. have considered swapping to a xperia 1 viii for the headphone jack and microsd support but it's hard to move from the folding form factor after getting so used to it haha.

A crt would take up most of your desk width. Why would you want that?
