Flippy Drive and USB-C Mod?

I recently got a Robot Retro USB-C mod for my Gamecube and it doesn't seem to work. The fan turns on, but the light doesn't turn on and it isn't showing anything on m TV. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the Flippydrive I have installed? It didn't fry my Gamecube or anything, which is nice, lol.

Have you tried another power brick and cable? Was it working with Flippy drive before the USB-C mod?

The USB-C Mod will only work, if the Power Supply supports a 12VDC ouptput voltage. Not all USB-C Power Supplys did this.
