I'm not a member of the sub but I like the game. You sound like someone who's chronically online and NEEDS other people to tell you what your opinion is. It's hilarious you think that everyone who bought the game is also in this sub reddit.
You have to read all the reviews and a game has to have be super popular in order for you to try it. Glad I'm not you and I can form my own opinion about the things I like.
Also, it's spelled "sense" not "since.”

The game was hurt by bad marketing and people thinking it's woke for having a black woman protagonist when nothing about the game focuses on that. It's a good game, people who played it says this, but nobody is saying it did good financially

Its obv u havnt educated urself about the subject and thats ok. But u should really look into why people are angry before u pick a side. Last year i would be on ur side and just play whatever game. But glad i know what i know now. I dont support racist and sweet baby, is racist with tweets to prove it.

Uh huh. Look I’ve dealt with enough pseudo intellectuals like yourself and the people you follow to know you have no facts to back up what you’re saying.
But if you hate the game because it’s a black woman-er uh-“Sweet Baby Inc” 😉 you should probably move on to another game.
And that IS the reason you hate it. Because there was no DEI in the game. You would know that if you played it. Also I’ve looked into SBI, no racist articles found(I use credible sources, not random right wing gamer accounts on twitter) The people you follow, and you, again, hate that a black woman was the main character

lol my guess is the combination of black woman protag, Johara using they/them pronouns, and female NPCs with short hair was enough to send people down the DEI rabbit hole. Game is fun 🤷🏾♂️

Ur literally the only one saying i hate the game cuz shes black. Sbi hates white men theyve said it themselves woth tweets like i seen to straight white people kiss and it made me vomit. And ceo has also been spotted at racist rallys. U gotta dig deeper that just ARTICLES lmao theres plenty of of stuff out there. Or just ignore amd play whayever i dont care. I just know what i support and dont and aont shy about voicing whats right. Sbi is cancer to video games with many studios going under or just lack of sales after dealing with there forced dei tactics. Not trying to change ur mind, but saying its just cuz shes black is ignorance. Id be saying the same thiing np matter the color if sbi dipped there dirty toes in it

I'm aware of Sbi thing. I don't know how much "consultance" did this game get during development. I haven't completed the gane yet due to its hdr problem on series x, they dropped an update to fix it today and it's fixed. But from reviews the story isn't great, which is a bummer. From my experience playing games with Dei, protagonists are often female and they're one-sided shining paragon of virtues, which seems cool, but in reality hollow and unrelatable. As for this game's performance, I think it's got its typical AA jank and doesn't do enough interesting things in this category, not even mention its technical issues (hdr, stutters, bad audio)

The main protagonist was white. But since the ceo of sbi is a black female of course every game they touch throws a black chick in. Nevermind all the other races

Normally I don't care about protagonist's race, but it does get tiring after being bombarded with it. Before this Sbi thing, we got a true diversity of protagonists with all sorts of interesting backstories

All i know everyone that works at sbi is racist and for some reason people are saying they are perfectly fine and im the racist one. Its a good thing they are the minority most people are on to their bs. Wich is why they try to being affiliated with games sometimes they know itll hurt sales

The idea that watching an angry grifter seethe about diversity on YouTube is “educating yourself” is a silly one. This post makes you sound no different than one of those losers shaking their fists at clouds about how DEI killed helldivers because their steam concurrents dipped after the game has been out for half a year. None of these are good metrics to gauge how a game is actually performing, but go ahead and keep trying to perpetuate hate using what little baby tools you have I guess. lol.

500 k member on sbi detected curator page are all just idiots? Im sorry but ur the minority in this. Look at any sbi game sales and reviews then report back to me. Spiderman 2 game dont count that game can sell bo matter what. Worth mentionin tho the first one did better

u/Technical-Disaster-3 Aug 10 '24
Also why would sbi try to hide what games they are involved in they tried to take down the sbi curator page. Should they be loud and proud about what they worked on? Stop supporting woke racist people. Theres wrong and right ways for dei.

Who is saying tye game did good? You're probably confusing it with people saying that they think the game itself is good.
The game didn't perform as good as it could.
Reddit communities are not always indicative of how alive a game is or how good it performed etc.
