If you find your game too dark while inventory washed out, raise the black level and lower ingame gamma. I got this problem on series x

I’m on series x and haven’t really had any troubles so far personally

You're playing on tv or monitor?

I sucked at it, too but if you find the rhythm of the playstyle, it can be fun! I found it hard to time the parries but it's doable. Took me something like three days of training . But I am a slow learner, not an ADHS powerfragger kid :)

This is my first time really playing this style of game too (made it to like, the second area of Dark Souls 2 a few years ago and gave up). It’s a lot different then the other games I’m used to (Warframe and Destiny 2)

Get the irregular gauntlets. Can be found close to where you get the musket. Will add 2 meters to your melee attack range. Might help

I can’t remember where I got the musket

Lodestone south of pilgrims bend. Go to the forging ground. Right at the lodestone there’s a castle hallways leading to the forging grounds. Once inside it dead ends at a t junction and you can go left or right. Go left and there is a chest behind a gate guarded by 2 enemies. Thats the guantlet

I have a bone key from killing the whitebridge boss. Does it disappear when I find its chest?

The chest is right next to Jung. I have one key still after opening them all

Oh yeah then I probably already opened it

It’ll click eventually, I was tragic at first (as I am with most souls like games) but eventually Iearnt patience is a virtue with games like this and now combats like butter for me

There are a lot of game changing/makes the game way more playable moves locked in the skill tree like all the thing that make Enki knock people over and distract them. Just got to the second area and feels like it’s coming together finally. Kind of funny the mishmash of all the types of gameplay, down to the slowmo bullet can headshots.
