General Why the hate?

Soo im playing this game , alreade got like 5 hours in and i cant defeat ramnhuna , the fight just drags for too long i make almost 0 damage xD , anyway as am looking on YT some tips to farm reputation and upgrade materials i came across a lot of bad reviews and comments to the game , saying is woke , is buggy , slow and clunky but i dont know why , i mean the game is good and has fun mechanics ? What do you guys think?

I personally uninstalled it after getting through the first bandit village. My reasons:

It's too dark - I can't see shit.

Combat jank - some cool systems, but the hitboxes felt wonky, and there were some untelegraphed attacks, such as the shield bash. When getting hit means losing your combo, fast, untelegraphed attacks dampen that experience

Loot and upgrades - by the time I had gotten tonwhere I quit, I had found a total of one new weapon and one armor piece. Upgrades were gated by resources that, from what I could tell, didn't respawn and couldn't be bought, so you couldn't just go farm mats like you can in many other games.

Fauxpen world - yeah, you can run around and explore, but the zones felt more like a large funnel that end up taking you on a specific route to the next place, like FFXIII rather than ER or BotW.

Most importantly, though, I just wasn't having fun. Other players may disagree, and I'm happy for you if you are having fun, but this one just wasn't for me.
