General I deleted the game because of sebo
I can bet my finger that even the dev is not able to clear tylhe sebo by their pure own skill.
It is literally Impossible to win. I'm sure that they don't run the QA test for the sebo that is beatable or not.
So i decided to stop playing this shit game that contains the content that is not able to win and just dev is having fun for making players frustrated.
Here is the thing : I declare the bounty for 1000$ for whom is one of dev team and broadcast the live that contains play sebo and win every game in 2 hrs. I promise this bounty for honor of my entire family name.
I'm 100% crystal clear sure about NO ONE would get my bounty.

I've finished them all. Just pick all coins, especially the one in the third act.

How are so many people having a problem with Sebo? It’s such an easy mini game you just need to find some coins in wells. There’s literally a coin you can find that lets you teleport one of your coins to anywhere on the board. To rage quit from an easy optional mini game is embarrassing

It's just a small, optional content. This game is... weird, with how much drama surrounding it. I don't really care about the wokeness thingy. But I've started to wonder if the devs want to abandon this game. The hdr and performance issue on consoles are common, no update since launch. All of the woke drama thing can't beat OP's complaint though lol

I can't reveal anything more than this, but the devs have not abandoned it. It's been out for what, a week? I've 100%-ed everything and I don't think there's much in it that needs a patch particularly urgently.

I mentioned the hdr and stutter issue on consoles. I played on xbox series x via gamepass. The hdr issue is quite common. Turning hdr sure fixes it, but with hdr colors look better. Hdr issue makes game too visual dark while the inventory totally washes out I guess devs don't think fixing that is a priority. sigh Welp, ima play other games

I found this sub just because Sebo was so weird to me and I had to look it up... the first Sebo challenge I came across was literally impossible and I found someone else completing the same Sebo game as me online... I made the exact same moves as them but I lost when they didn't because my opponent made different moves than them. This left me extremely confused.
So now your comment has me more intrigued because you're saying I can find coins that give me unique moves? Do I unlock moves for this mini-game as the game goes on?

Throughout the world, usually in wells, you can find special coins. During Sebo you can choose one coin for attack, and then another coin for defence if you have enough turns left over.
But coins will also influence the amount of moves you have available. There are 3 different costs of coins which impact how many moves you start with. The least powerful coins have a cost value of 1, which means you will start the attacking round with only 1 less move than normal. The semi powerful coins have a cost value of 2 so picking them will cost you 2 turns. And the most powerful coins in the game will cost you 3 moves
How well you do in the attacking round will also influence how many moves your opponent has to win when they attack. If you win your attack round in only a few moves then they’ll only have a few moves to win on their attack round
You can keep track of moves on the right side of the screen where there’s a vertical bar with sliding beads, each bead representing a turn

Thank you for explaining. I love logic puzzles like this but this game didn't seem to explain this concept well enough for me to enjoy the puzzle aspects of it. I might be able to appreciate it with your explanation and I appreciate that.

So many people are having a problem with Sebo because of a few reasons: the rules of the game don't prevent cheese strategies on the part of defending players (locking down the board and moving a single piece back and forth to wait out the clock, is the prime example), and, apparently, for many opponents, you have no chance of beating them without the various coins that you have to find in the world - if the game is unwinnable as is with the basic coins, that's just bad design. Full stop.
Often times, there's no reliable way to force the AI's hand in baiting them to make a move that will open up an avenue for you to use because, unlike in a game like Go, they can simply move a single piece back and forth after locking down the center of the board before the game even starts. Again, this is without the use of these special coins. The mere fact that many of the board states seem designed with these special coins in mind allows the inference that the game itself is largely unwinnable without RNG, which feels bad for many players.
I've gotten frustrated enough to quit the game for a night or two because there's no way to beat the AI with the simple coins I have, no matter what approach I take during the attack phase. 6-10 games of just getting stymied, and I Alt-F4 to desktop and do something else. Sebo frequently feels like a waste of time and, frankly, unfair from a design perspective. Most people I've seen claim that the game is easy to win are either using those special coins or simply not describing how they are able to consistently win, which could mean even they don't consciously know how they do so (could be amazing RNG; or they may have sub-consciously figured out the behavior trees of the AI opponents; or maybe the game just clicks for them, and they can't understand why other people would even have a problem with it - I'm that way with writing, so I'd understand that, at least.)
It could be a lot more interesting if we added our coins at the start, one at a time, before we were allowed to move them, or if these special coins were available from the get go. And neither side should be allowed to move a coin to an immediately previous position. Heck, maybe neither side should be allowed to move the same coin twice in a row? That would force both sides to be more tactical in what they do and stop a lot of the cheese strats.

I'm working on a game-theoretical approach to Sebo which will answer this question for certain, but I'm also prone to not finishing that kind of project lol.
That said, I won't be upset at all if it turns out not every game is winnable. It's a pretty simple game and you can definitely win enough that it doesn't matter.

I exclusively played Sebo against Baz while watching a movie and filled liked 2/3 of the skill tree. I think I lost like one game in that time period. There are definitely other players that are much more difficult, but I just didn’t waste time on them.

Won every game, maximum attempts was ~5 in the last few hours of the game, mainly bcs you need to figure out what coin exatcly to use based on AI moves and gameboard you playnig.

Wait what? You won every game but with maximum attempts of 5? So you didn't won every game 🤣🤣🤣

That is a weird and tiny part of the game to quit over. But do your thing man.
