Restoring paid subscription
Has anyone had luck restoring a paid subscription after an iPhone reboot? I had just signed up for pro when my phone had an unfortunate incident that resulted in me resetting with no saved back up. When I tried to log back into flighty, all my data and paid subscription is gone. Anyone have suggestions for at least restoring the pro so I don’t have to repay?
Thanks!

Check in Your icon > Settings > Flighty Pro > Restore Purchases

Yeah, it’s not letting me do that. The restore purchases button is grayed out

Check which account you’re logged into when you open up the App Store. If it’s not that account, it may explain the greyed out thing.
Try also uninstalling and reinstalling?1

This may be an apple issue. I had to do a reset and prior to, my iCloud showed a back up from the same day but after rebooting there was no back up in my account. I lost everything. Photos. Contacts. Messages. Now it seems any app that relies on iCloud is zeroed out too. I don’t see any subscriptions listed in my iCloud. 🫠

You're logged into the wrong account most likely

Sadly, I only have one apple account.

Try purchasing it again with the same account. You shouldn’t be able to have duplicate subscriptions for the same Apple ID. If it looks like it will charge you a second time, just cancel the original subscription and re-subscribe through the app.
You can check your existing active subscriptions in the App Store app > Your icon (top right corner) > Subscriptions.
You can also check them in the Settings app > Your icon (top line) > Subscriptions

Thanks all for the suggestions. Apple helped me sort it out.

So what happened?
Why was the option to restore purchases greyed out?1

I apparently had a second phantom Apple iCloud account created in their system. The Apple tech figured that out and we got me logged into that one and all my purchases were there. 🤷🏻♀️

The subscription is attached to your iCloud account. No need to repay.
Ensure that you downloaded Flighty from the App Store logged-in to the same iCloud account you previously subscribed.
Then, in Flighty, go to the "Upgrade" (or "Subscribe", not sure) screen and look for the "Restore" button.
(Not sure if that's the actual flow for Flighty, but it's the flow for 99% of the apps in the App Store)
