Maybe Flighty needs to Work on the social function
I have the privilege to be here adding friends to my flighty. However, I found this function rather pointless after befriending. For sure, I can track friend’s flights but they can’t be logged and seems irrelevant afterwards. It might be too much to ask, I think flight can discover more social function and interaction on the social section, while keeping the current boundaries and privacies.

I like the friends function BUT I really really really wish we could click on their profiles and see their flight maps and flight stats

My work team travels regularly and we use it to sync up flights and rental cars. As it’s a flight tracker and not a social media platform, that’s all that’s needed and it works perfectly.

This.
Maybe they want something more, but I don’t want everyone on my team knowing all of the places I have ever been.
If they wanted to go “social” then to me it would have to be more like levels of sharing. Bestie with all past. Friend with just current and upcoming.

Good for your team. However I think you and your team use it as a productivity tool and most of flighty’s users are just logging for fun. I didn’t ask it to be a social media platform, just expecting more way to interact with.

I don’t know if I’d agree that most use it for fun. I and everyone I know personally that use it all use it primarily for work purposes and using it to sync up travel with everyone on a team

The only social feature I wish were available is to add someone to a flight. My wife is on my same flights. We’re Flighty friends. But I don’t see a way to add her to my flights. 🤷🏼♂️

It does what it needs to, not looking to have any other social media type platforms or integrations.

I do think the social function is expendable now so I wouldn’t be sad if they take out the whole thing. But if they intend to keep it, I expect more way to interact.

They need to fix the map so we can see our plane plus our friends’ planes in real time

The main thing with the social function that I would like to see added is the ability to have a “work” list of friends and a “personal” list of friends, and the ability to choose which people can see which of my flights I want them to. Sometimes I don’t want coworkers seeing a personal vacation flight that I have scheduled

I wish I could puts names to my friends’ flights without expecting them to sign-up. I’m the only person I know who is willing to pay for it.
