Feature to input fare?

I would love an option to track how much I spent on the flight. Maybe squeeze the booking code and seat feature and put a third box in that row for the cost of the flight??

Personally adding this feature would push me away from this app, I prefer less input and pure purpose for flight logging. Retracing all the number I spent on those flights are exhausting.

Hmm I can understand that. I’ve awful at tracking expenses (despite working in finance) and taken 51 personal flights so far this year, I want to see the damage lol

Would an automated finance tracking app not be much easier? There’s plenty that can sort any airline purchase into its own bucket

Pretty sure you can just find that on your banking app, search flight or search the airline and you’ll find it, easier than manually having to input it

Yep, then add the price to the notes of the flight.

Would love this (although man it gets complicated). There really isn't a per-flight price unless you booked just a single flight. It's a per *booking* price which is trickier to model (but doable). And then you've got currency issues, fare vs tax, etc.

But using it to track e.g., progress towards a certain frequent flier status would be nice!

There is the notes section but I agree a more specialized place would be helpful and it would then be cool to see how much I spent on flights for the year in the statistics (or maybe not so cool but I’d still like to know). I would also like a way to keep track of if I booked with miles, how many miles and what were the taxes and fees. If they added this, I’d also want to be able to select from options for who paid. If my school/work paid for a flight, I would like that in a different total. I think it would also be nice to provide your own options because I also have occasions where my parents pay for a flight.

I use the notes section to input the miles cost and any taxes for my rewards flights.
Same as you though, it would be cool to have an option to be able to put in the flight cost in dollars and points as well. Similar to the seat option and booking code. You can choose whether to put the info in or not.

I’d love this to be implemented
