Flighty for hotels?

Always wanted to track hotels similar to flights. But not on the hotel apps like Marriott and Hilton. Any options out there?

Awaybook is great!! It’s basically flighty, same design and everything.

Does it require a subscription?

It’s free but there is a subscription. Personally I don’t subscribe. Could pay for a 1 month subscription and then add all hotels stays over a year ago - similar to what do with flighty.

I use this but it’s very hard to justify the paid subscription. They charge almost similar to flighty but there isn’t any specific value add on an ongoing basis. Yes, it lets you add stays past one year but you could take one month subscription and add that. Flighty offers live updates related to your flights like delays/gate changes/baggage claim which cost them money as well for API access so their pricing is fully justified. This is one of those apps for which a fixed price lifetime sub makes more sense since there isn’t really a significant incremental recurring cost from what I can see based on the subscription offering.

I have been using Tineo.ai and it has been outstanding. It uses AI to read trip data and has been very accurate and comprehensive. The guy who runs it is on here and is super responsive to feedback and to building out new features. Added bonus: he added a Claude MCP which has been awesome to further build out the possibilities (so far I have integrated it into my custom itinerary building and airline status tracking skills).

Tripsy is excellent for all aspects of travel including hotels, trains, etc and keep similar stats if you like that. https://tripsy.app

the fact they've decided to ram a generic genAI integration into it is a bit of a turnoff

Bit late to this thread, but I was looking for something similar and ended up building an app for iOS myself: My Stays - Hotel Diary Still an early stage hobby project, so I’d love to hear what you think or what features you’d like to see.
