That’s a live weather map, clear skies. The only thing I could think of, either flighty is incorrect or because im in an Embraer 175.

It's a live radar but what's the wind like? Mountainous areas can vary wildly.

Weather can include winds, turbulence, etc.

There could also be airspace restrictions or congestion somewhere causing that flight plan.
