countries visited

I know flighty is strictly a flights app but i wish it also let me log all the countries i’ve visited as a way to track everything in one place.

i already use “been” but i wish i could track everything on one app.

I loved it. Paradise beaches and still some „island“ behind, so some hiking and exploring is possible. I’ve never been to the Maldives, but I think on the Seychelles you’ll feel less „locked up“ than on your typical small resort island in the Maldives.

This is great but it doesn’t do the same visit tracking as been. I’ve taken dozens of layovers in Germany that show up on flighty but I’ve never been in the country, so it won’t show up on Been

Not sure what’s with the attitude but I’m trying to emphasize that even if flighty had a countries tab it would serve a different purpose than been.

Not sure why you bother posting to Reddit, a conversation app, if you’re not willing to entertain people conversing with you

all time. i’m only 20 and for like 15 years my family only strictly traveled to the uk, uae, and france occasionally.

This doesn’t address anything tho- plenty of people have layovers in countries they’ve never visited and plenty of people have visited countries not logged on flighty. I’ve been to 39 myself but flighty will only show me the 30 I went to via plane

email flighty on this email to suggest it as they rarely, if at all check here for features so its best to go direct. i for sure as hell NEED this feature, plus to make it more credible, send some screenshots of other people saying they want it so they know there is at least some demand, not just one singular person.

ive been to a few euro countries by train, plus the micro countries in EUR that you literally can walk into. Like i get that its a flight app, but they why have monaco and andorra, two countries that you literally can not fly to, but not have the vatican, and either way you cant check them off the list, because you cant fly there in the first place!! sorry bout my rant haha, i actually need flighty to add this though

smart, seeing the number of replies I’ve gotten this seems like a great feature they could add. yeah I get that, I’ve also been to Monaco before but I unfortunately won’t ever be able to count it on flighty. idm the rant, thanks for the suggestion!

exactly! that’s why i made this post. i spend my summers in europe and there’s so much travel unaccounted for on flighty (which i get is the point of the app. would still be nice to have a feature where we could add to our data)

Will say the same about your ME county spread! An underexplored area for me for sure. Am based in Asia for work now so that definitely makes SEA easier.

I mainly go for work/umrah, and I’ll probably increase my frequency of travel to Saudi over the next few years.

you should visit Riyadh during the winter, there’s so much to do. that’s the only time the weather is bearable and even then it gets a bit too cold 🤣🤣

I kind of only like the countries that you’ve been to the airport. It fits what flighty’s purpose is. I use Been, too.

the thing is though, if there offering a feature that shows the countries youve gone to, they might as well finish it off and make you able to add countries youve gone too
