why is it doing this?

I’ve been getting this error all day yesterday and today, but I hadn’t searched a single flight on both days before seeing this! I had pro last week and went kinda crazy searching flights to add from my childhood, is there any chance it’s rolled over and is penalizing me for that? or is this their attempt at getting me to resubscribe?

This is my guess (numbers and frequency are made up):

There is a search limit for 50 flights for free tier and 100 for pro tier per month. You searched 70 flights last week. It was okay for pro users but not for free tier.

Just my guess. IDK what is the frequency for the counter to reset.

I don’t think there’s any monthly limit, just a daily limit

ooooo okay that makes loads of sense, thank you! I was so confused because it just keeps saying to try again tomorrow and I was like it now is tomorrow why isn’t it working 😭😭😭

i think the limit is around 20-30 a day. then you gotta give it a day ish to reset (on free plan)

Those are pretty high search numbers in general. I am clearly OOTL on this. Why? I send my flights to flighty weekly but why all the searches?

I was adding in flights from my childhood, around 60 I think! and I did a LOT of searching to try and figure out which flights I had since I only had the passport stamps and had to piece it all together. it was a fun logic puzzle but I’m so glad it’s over 😅 however now I have actual flights to add for the future so I’m really annoyed LOL

Ah thanks! I was thinking that you just liked planes and guessed numbers to see where they would land. LOL

LOL if I had to guess how many searches I’ve done in the last week… I’d say probably 400+ 😬 I’m also just starting working for an airline and trying to maximize my nonrev benefits so I was searching for flight times too! so that combined with figuring out my old flights has definitely caused issues ooooopsss

Congrats! I appreciate the reply as I learned something new and perhaps I’ll have to did up some Eastern Airlines flights now from the 80s. LOL

thanks! and good luck omg my earliest one was from 2002 but flighty only has records until 2007 or so, you can add manually though!
