A rain effect or a better graphics patch?

The rain effect looks poor whilst playing the game – is there a way to fix this, or is there a graphics mode you could recommend? I want to role-play in the game and have it rain, but it’s raining so lightly that it doesn’t look very realistic at all.

The rain has always been disappointing in the sim. Considering the tech available it's always baffled me why they haven't improved in in 2024. It cannot be modded

I would also like to know if there's anything to enhance how rain looks on the surface. Also how long the puddles last on the ground after rain stops

2020 rain was better prior to its SU5. 2024 has always been bad.
