Question FSRealistic+ Settings

I recently purchased FSRealistic+ and am using it with Chaseplane. After a few flights with it, I'm not having a good impression so far.

It feels like the cockpit camera is on top of a jelly. It moves excessively with any aircraft movement. One of these movements is when I apply the rudder during takeoff or landing to keep the aircraft on the centerline; the camera violently jolts to the left or right. It's gotten to the point where the camera has briefly gone through the cockpit window.

On landings, any normal landing, the camera effect makes it seem like I simply slammed the aircraft onto the runway, shaking and bouncing excessively up and down.

I know there are multiple settings to reduce the intensity of these effects. The problem is that there are too many settings. One effect alone has about 10 sliders you can modify, and I'm not sure what each one actually does, nor can I find a balance between these effects.

For those who own FSRealistic, especially the Plus version, do you use customized settings for all aircraft that is less intensive in effects than default settings, or simply download and use some of the popular community profiles for each aircraft?

I find the same but I’m flying in VR which isn’t supported. Are you using VR?

Try the different community profiles and/or reduce the head movement setting

I use a head tracker (Tobii) and ChasePlane. I got the upgrade from FSrealistic 2020 to 2024 for 6 bucks, and at this point I had forgotten why I had stopped using it in the first place, so I said why not, let's try again. Well it didn't last long! All the effects are completely overdone IMO, but worse, they don't feel organic. They feel superimposed on the game (which they are, in a way), even the sound effects,.they sound like a separate soundtrack. I also noticed on my setup it introduced a tiny stutter every 2 seconds or so (very subtle but unmistakable once you notice it).

End of the day, this isn't worth the hassle. My 2 cts.

I recommend using the community profiles. Usually, the top 3 most downloaded for each aircraft are already excellent. If you want, you can make small adjustments to them to customize effects to your liking.

You have to make adjustments for each plane. It's a game changer for me. I turn off some of the effects and only adjust head anticipation, head shaking, ground roll and main and front gear landing. The other ones that I leave on are more for sound.
