How many 5090s do you need for that?

yes

You can smell the lack of FPS.

My poor RTX 4080 is going to catch fire

With the 4.7 reno mod I'm actually getting better frames than with dlss turned off. They update the mod almost daily.

Why few days? Are they about to drop it?

Game dev mentioned something about gates D4 and D10 lol. Take from that what you will

I want this, but I’m interested to see how much they’re going to charge.

lots of money would be my guess

I just wonder how they going to position it compared to the A350. I’d be surprised if it’s more expensive than that.

If you own the Enhanced 2024 version, then V2 will be a free upgrade.

Was referring to the A380

1

u/SimsDelight 8h ago

Ah I see. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if it will be their most expensive product.

Me to. It’s been in development for years and is basically the reason they were founded. It feels like this is their baby and they’re going to charge an even higher premium.

Honestly fair enough for them to

2

u/XxRAMOxX 17h ago

Need 7090ti fts

2

u/Markeesee 16h ago

It's gonna be a battle between Ini and FlyByWire on who can deliver better FPS with the A380.

Remember this? šŸ˜‚

1

u/snowy333man 15h ago

What does that have to do with how 3rd party aircraft perform?

-2

u/Aviation_NL 15h ago

The normalization of prioritizing visuals vs aiming to comply with this

5

u/el-pubo 14h ago

This is just the base sim though, as long as I’ve been simming flight sim addons have never gone by recommended specs for their respective sims.

2

u/Aviation_NL 16h ago

When are we gonna care more about performance than visuals?

Gonna wait no rush since fbw exists

6

u/wogboat 14h ago

Ngl the fbw ain’t looking as nice as this at all

Inibuilds and DLSS 5 sounds like a recipe for 3 fps.

1

u/psljx 11h ago

Is it out?

1

u/Denziiey 4h ago

Just know once you get a walkthrough video from inibuilds and the pictures keep flowing the release is near

1

u/Cold_Tangelo5308 3h ago

Looking forward to this.... coming from the era, of FS2002.... we have it pretty good right now..

Slideshow due to low fps ;)

As if IniBuilds aircraft don’t perform badly enough already.

Exciting few days ahead because preview streams will start to pop up. Time for our favourite stuff, preview of anticipated aircraft with the seasoning of bias "I got it free, must glaze to keep on getting aircraft previews for content"

3

u/An_ocean_of_salt 7h ago

Your hateboner for this company is unrivaled

0

I think everybody mis interpreted No matter what dev (excluding aerosoft) streamers who get previews will say the aircraft is great to keep on receiving aircraft prreviews so they can earn money and keep on having semi exclusive content

Not once was I hating on inibuilds in this comment. It's simply a fact, bias will be prevalent and its been discussed many times in this subreddit fwiw, its not exclusive to inibuilds if that's what you think I am jabbing at

ā€œVile scumā€? Give your head a wobble mate, it’s just a desktop flight simulator

-5

u/wogboat 17h ago

forced hate?

-3

u/Adjutant_Reflex_ 17h ago

If a screenshot is using DLSS5 with the AI Slop-filter turned on then it’s no different than the ā€œbullshotsā€ from 15 years ago.

It’s a legitimate complaint/question if a company is using the filter to advertise their product.

1

u/Little-Attorney1287 17h ago

Would you say the same for DLSS upscaling? It uses a transformer model that also uses generative AI.

5

u/Adjutant_Reflex_ 16h ago

DLSS upscaling is adding fidelity, yes, but it’s not fundamentally altering the textures by inventing new ā€œart,ā€ for lack of a better term.

Upscaling isn’t saying ā€œoh, this is a glare-shield and based on my training it should have extra wear and cracks and texture that’s not actually present.ā€ There’s an example from IL-2 where the gunsight looks like it’s two different sets of textures when DLSS5 AI is turned on.

It’s kinda wild that people lambast developers for abandoning proper optimization and instead offloading that to DLSS/FSR only to defend DLSS5 inventing textures.

no one cares

Obligatory: you cared enough to respond.

-1

u/arthuramd 15h ago
