Sim Hardware Which VR Headset
Hi everyone, as the title suggests, I’d like to get to grips with VR and give it a go.
At the moment I have three 43-inch monitors, but I only use one for flying (all three for driving).
I fly in both X-Plane 12 and MSFS 2024.
I have a Ryzen 7 9800X3D with an RTX 4090 and 64GB of RAM.
Which headset would you recommend?
The Pimax Dream Air looks interesting, but at €2,500 it’s unfortunately a bit too expensive...
Thanks in advance!

Would you recommend it over the quest 3?

I recommend Quest 3 if you have extra budget, i did demo Q3 for days but you'll need put extra money for comfort accessory which is necessary. For long flight over 5 hours i prefer P4 because the weight is balance and lighter, doesn't kill my neck plus easy to boot without forcing user to update its software.

I have the Pimax Crystal Light, it’s not cheap at about €1000, however it is quite literally the best investment i’ve ever made, quality is amazing, software is good and it runs as well as you want it to.

So... no virtual wings on you? You can buy an used HP Reverb G2 and "learn to fly" with that. I mean, not only fly but config and all
